Seminarveranstaltung für Hauseigentümer, Mieter, Gewerbetreibende im Rahmen der "8. Hamburger Klimawoche 2016".

Ist Ihr Haus und Grundstück auch zukünftig vor Starkregen geschützt und an höhere Temperaturen angepasst?

Hamburg muss sich im Zuge des Klimawandels an vermehrte Starkregen und erhöhte Temperaturen im Sommer anpassen. Im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung können Sie anhand einer von der HafenCity Universität Hamburg entwickelten Checkliste überprüfen, ob Ihr Haus und Grundstück von den Klimafolgen betroffen ist. Kann es z.B. in Ihrem Gebäude bei Starkregen zu Überflutungen im Keller, in der Tiefgarage oder im Erdgeschoss kommen? Oder heizen sich Ihr Gebäude oder einzelne Räume während der Sommermonate stark auf?

Anschließend haben Sie die Möglichkeit, mit den Fachexperten darüber zu diskutieren, mit welchen Maßnahmen Sie Ihr Haus oder Grundstück schützen bzw. anpassen können. Darüber hinaus werden verschiedene finanzielle Fördermöglichkeiten vorgestellt. Gerne können Sie Informationen zu Ihrem Gebäude und Ihrem Grundstück mitbringen.

Electric mobility provides a strategic technological solution to the development of
environmentally sustainable transport. Three demonstration regions for New Energy Vehicles
(= e-mobility) in China funded by the Chinese Government (Ministry of Science and Technology
by the People’s Republic of China, MOST) as well as in Germany (funded by the German Federal
Ministry of Transport and digital Infrastructure, BMVI) cooperate and compare experiences
between the regions and cities of Shenzhen and Hamburg, Dalian and Rhein-Ruhr as well as
Wuhan and Bremen-Oldenburg.

This emerging movement relies on the combination of public personal mobility services, such
as carsharing and a shift from fossil-based traffic towards electric vehicles. The aim of electric
mobility is to not only change how people drive in the current system but also reduce traffic and
start the transition towards a city of short distances.

Within the international cooperation, Hamburg invites the Chinese partners and experts from
other European cities to introduce their concepts and lessons learnt on implementing new energy
vehicles in their regions and their specific policy framework. How can electro mobility contribute
to sustainable urban development? Which instruments for promoting e-mobility are successful? And
what are the challenges for future technological development? Using the example of these model
regions and other international best practices, such questions will be discussed at HafenCity
University’s International Conference.

The session is Part of the Fehmarn Belt Days 2016.  - Based on the URMA experience of six regions from Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Poland, and on expertise from METREX (working group) and OECD (report) the following questions will be addressed in the seminar:

- In which sectors could urban and rural actors benefit from a closer co-operation? (tele-working, other tele-activities, renewable energies, food, recreation, tourism etc.)
- What is necessary to stimulate a more intensive relationship? (incentives, processes etc.)
- And how could such partnerships contribute to new forms of shared spatial responsibility, solidarity and territorial cohesion in metropolitan regions?

Detailed findings will be presented from the Hamburg-Jutland pilot case.

Different speakers from German and Danish cities and regions give insight on the urban-rural cooperation that was started along the Jutland peninsula in the frame of the URMA project.
-    Why did the cities and regions cooperate? How did they benefit from the cooperation?
-    What will be the future steps in the cooperation along the Jutland peninsula?
-    What could Jutland and other regions – especially STRING and the Femarnbelt region - learn from each other? How could they cooperate?

The Science-Slam  ist part of the Fehmarnbelt Days 2016, Part 2 Science-Slam session II and discussion of joint research

The “STRING Science Network on Cities and Regions” (short: STRING Science Network) brings together scientists from the whole STRING area including Denmark, the Metropolitan Region of Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein and southern Sweden.

In the “Science Slam New Research on Cities and Regions” Kick off scientists present their current research and outstanding results in form of a science-slam. The guiding theme is sustainable transition of cities and regions.

The STRING Science Network contributes to getting to know researchers from the cross-border area, exchanging knowledge and building cooperation for future joint research (HORIZON 2020 etc.). The aim is to develop first class science-partnerships in the field of urban and regional development in the STRING region in order to support its further development as a scientific region.

In the long-term the science network could turn into a ”STRING Virtual Institute for Urban and Regional Studies” along the corridor with thematic research clusters initiating joint projects as well as new perspectives and impulses for the region.

In the afternoon session the science-slam will continue and common research competences and interests will be identified and potential mutual themes discussed.

For three days, the Fehmarnbelt Days provide a broad platform for stakeholders (including the interested public) from all over the emerging Fehmarnbelt Region and beyond to exchange ideas and experiences, to discuss key issues and further cross-border collaboration. We want to develop possible growth opportunities of the emerging Fehmarnbelt Region – seize the possibilities and understand possible obstacles.

The Fehmarnbelt Days deal with key areas such as infrastructure, tourism, business, the labour market, transport and logistics as well as education and research. The Fehmarnbelt Days will also host and be accompanied by a variety of social and cultural events.
In order to adequately represent all interested actors and bodies, we also look for further activity partners who want to strengthen and debate the emerging region as well as its implications under the umbrella of this international conference.

Präsentation. - Im Projekt FindingPlaces suchte Hamburg Flächen für Flüchtlingsunterkünfte. Was sind die Ergebnisse der 34 Workshops, die von Mai bis Juli im CityScienceLab der HCU Hamburg stattgefunden haben? Wie geht es mit den identifizierten Flächen weiter? Und in welcher Form kann das digitale Modell, an dem die Workshops durchgeführt wurden, zukünftig die Bürgerbeteiligung in der Stadtentwicklung bereichern? Wir laden Sie herzlich zur Ergebnispräsentation des Projekts FindingPlaces mit anschließender Diskussion ein!

Hintergrund

Zwischen Mai und Juli dieses Jahres haben Hamburgerinnen und Hamburger in 34 Workshops des Projekts FindingPlaces Flächen für Flüchtlingsunterkünfte gesucht. Die Workshops wurden von der HafenCity Universität Hamburg und der steg Hamburg durchgeführt und fanden an einem digitalen Stadtmodell in der HCU Hamburg statt. Alle von den Teilnehmern identifizierten Flächen wurden vom Zentralen Koordinierungsstab Flüchtlinge (ZKF) der Stadt Hamburg auf ihre Eignung als Unterkunftsfläche geprüft. Inzwischen sind die ersten Prüfungen abgeschlossen und die Ergebnisse sowie der aktuelle Stand der Prüfungen können vorgestellt werden.

Am 14. September 2016 laden wir von 10.00 Uhr bis 17.00 Uhr zu einem kostenlosen Vectorworks-Trainingstag in das Holcim Auditorium ein. Das Training wird von der Firma CADLIFE GbR durchgeführt.

In lockerer Atmosphäre, bei Snacks und Getränken, Vectorworks kennenlernen. Die wichtigsten Grundlagen fürs Zeichnen, Grafiktools für schöne und schnelle Entwürfe sowie das Organisieren der Zeichnungen mit Klassen und Ebenen werden gezeigt.

Nach der Mittagspause geht's ins 3D und zum Abschluss wird ein Plan mit Hilfe der Layout Ebenen zusammengestellt, um ihn als PDF zu exportieren.
