Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Rainer Noennig

Professor für Digital City Science

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Rainer Noennig ist Professor für Digital City Science an der Hafencity Universität Hamburg und Leiter des WISSENSARCHITEKTUR Laboratory of Knowledge Architecture an der TU Dresden.

Zwischen 1998 und 2001 praktizierte er als Architekt in Tokio, unter anderem bei Ishiyama Experimental Underground Architecture Factory und Arata Isozaki & Associates. Ab 2001 war er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der TU Dresden, wo er zum Junior Professor für Wissensarchitektur (2009-2015) ernannt wurde.

Er lehrte an verschiedenen Universitäten im Ausland und war Gastprofessor an der Universita degli Studi dell l'Aquila, dem ISEN Toulon, der TU Woronesch und der Toyo Universität Tokyo.

Jörg Rainer Noennig hat mehrere Bücher und mehr als 100 wissenschaftliche Arbeiten und Essays veröffentlicht, mehrere Preise, Stipendien und Auszeichnungen gewonnen, darunter unter anderem den Grand Prix der European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE).
