Laura Fernández Resta has been working at the Chair of Design and Analysis of Structures and the BIMlab@HCU on the project "0-CO2-WSHH - CO2-neutral World Heritage Speicherstadt Hamburg" since July 2022..

Laura completed her architecture degree (Bachelor and Master) at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca (Spain) and during this time had the opportunity to study for a year at the Politecnico di Milano (Italy). After graduating, she worked in architectural firms and construction companies in Spain and Germany, where she was able to focus her professional career on the application of BIM methodology. At the same time, since 2017, she has been studying some subjects of the Bachelor's degree programme in Computer Engineering at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (Spain) in order to combine her new knowledge with BIM tools.
