Zainab Marvi is a designer and researcher. Her research spans the fields of design, gender, cities, and cinema from a feminist perspective. She has a MSc. in COOP Design Research from Bauhaus-Dessau where she did her thesis on feminist practices as urban resistance. In 2022, she was involved as a lecturer and thesis advisor in the same program, teaching two modules: Academic Writing and Design as Projection. She has been co-teaching the subject of Presentation and Communication in the Department of Architecture, Space, and Society since 2023.
