Technologies for Sustainable Water Resource Management

Target

The target of the module is to improve the student´s knowledge about “Technologies for Sustainable Water Resource Management”. They will investigate the treatment process, the parameters of dimensioning the treatment installation, the options and limitations of use and best practice examples. The seminar will provide a platform to exchange the information and to compare the technologies.

Task

The students choose a “Technology for Sustainable Water Resource Management” and collect information concerning treatment processes, chemical and biological basics, parameters of
dimensioning, needs of maintenance, limitations of use, cost etc. Furthermore they should
introduce one or two practice examples and should give a presentation for the seminar on the collected information. The results should be compiled it in a documentary paper of scientific
writing.
