The world of tomorrow will primarily be developed in large cities. The future work, living, residential and environmental conditions are shaped here by means of complex plans. Cities and metropolitan areas are formed. Sustainable concepts for cities are particularly in demand.
Structural-spatial, social, economic, ecological and legal requirements must be taken into account in order to be able to sustainably design cities and metropolitan areas. They are to be incorporated on spatial levels from the district to the region in situational analyses, strategies and concepts in a complex interplay of theory, practice and research.
The study offer offers a great potential for deepening, which can be compiled from the offer in the area of the Urban Planning, the entire HCU or in the large university landscape of Hamburg.
