SoSafe

SoSafe is the e-learning platform we use. With short videos and some interactive elements, you can learn or relearn the basics of information security.
The most important aspect of cybersecurity are always humans. Therefore, it’s essential to know the basics.

All parts in a campaign can be started, paused and resumed whenever you need to so you are flexible in how you learn. For HCU students, there is a compact training of around 60 minutes, while for HCU staff the total course duration is approximately 120 minutes.. After completing all mandatory modules, you can download a certificate.
All modules are available both in English and German.

For a slightly more exciting learning every video is followed by a short quiz. After successfully answering the quizzes, you can level up and gain achievements.

SoSafe is an offering for all HCU students and HCU staff. Participation is not mandatory.

How to log in:

1. Go to elearning.sosafe.de
2. Click on “Log in with SAML”, enter your HCU email address (firstname.lastname@hcu-hamburg.de), your HCU password, and your second factor.
