SoSafe

SoSafe is the e-learning platform we use at HCU to help you learn the basics of information security with short videos and interactive elements. The most important aspect of cybersecurity are always humans therefore, it’s essential for all of us to know the basics.

All lessons in a campaign can be started, paused and resumed whenever you want so you can learn flexible. For HCU students, there is a compact training of under 30 minutes. HCU staff can learn about information security in the workplace in at most 99 minutes. Students and staff can choose to extend their knowledge even more with optional lessons. All modules are available both in English and German.

For an interactive learning experience some lessons quiz you about the knowledge you just learned. After successfully answering the quizzes, you can level up and gain achievements. After completing all mandatory modules, you can download a certificate.

SoSafe is an offering for all HCU students and HCU staff. Participation is not mandatory.

How to log in:

1. Go to elearning.sosafe.de
2. Click on “Log in with SAML”, enter your HCU email address (firstname.lastname@hcu-hamburg.de), your HCU password, and your second factor.
