M.Sc. Flavio Mancuso

Flavio Mancuso studied in Istanbul (ITU) and Berlin before graduating in Architecture and Urban Design at Politecnico di Torino (2017).
Following a formative experience at Studio Rabe Landschaften, he co-founded Borneo Architecture (2021), a collaborative studio exploring spatial design for a more-than-human Anthropocene. 

In 2022, joined Prof. Stokman’s Chair of Landscape Architecture at HCU in Hamburg as Researcher and Teaching Associate.
He is also engaged in activist spatial practice (Botanica Urbana) and community-centered living labs in marginalized community (SimeriLab).
His current research (2023) focuses on „Visual Methods for Process-Oriented Multispecies Design Pedagogies“. 

Recently (2024), he was a guest lecturer at the MK&G Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe and at the Royal College of Art in London, contributing to the chair of Media Studies.
