In the library, HCU members have access to two multifunctional devices for copying, printing and scanning and a flatbed scanner on the gallery.
For copying and printing you need your HCU card, which must be loaded with a credit.
Our two A3 top view scanner save the scans directly to the USB stick to be brought along.
Copy
To copy, insert your HCU card into the card reader belonging to the multifunction device. You can enter the copy mode via the multifunction device's screen. Press END to remove the HCU-Card after the copying process.
Print
With the printer FollowMe you can print cashless at all PC workstations. For this you need your HCU-Card, which must be loaded with a corresponding credit. To start a print job select:
- File -> Print
- Select the printer "FollowMe_sw" for black and white prints or "FollowMe_color" for color prints and start the print job.
Multifunction Devices for HCU Students:
Students can retrieve their print job at any multifunction device in the building marked WI-S:

Scan
On the first floor of the library there are two A3 top view scanner, where the scanned pages can be stored on the library's own USB stick.
In addition, you can use a flatbed scanner or the multifunction device for scanning. The flatbed scanner are connected to workstation computers on the gallery. With the multifunction device you can send scans directly to your HCU e-mail address. You can find an manual in the IT Helpdesk. (login with HCU ID like this: hcuhh\hxy123)

Information for guests
If you need copies please contact the service desk. Scans can be made on an A3 overhead scanner. Please bring a USB stick with you.
