Designer and design researcher Vivien Tauchmann was a guest in the BA seminar Sociology of Architecture on 12/17/21 with a performative training and talk.
Self-As-Other-Training: Smartphone - The training invites to practice and critically reflect global power relations through an experiential, physical approach. It is based on the choreographed and performative training "Self-As-Other-Training: Smartphone", which gives an insight into the daily invisible gestures and routines of workers in the production of mobile devices. One's own body becomes the starting point to question the "I" in relation to the "other", to expand individual experiences with the environment, as well as to question privileges and one's own behaviors.
