Placing Material on Course Reserves

Course reserves can be set up for individual courses for the duration of a semester.

Please apply for the course reserve no later than four weeks before the start of the semester so that we can reclaim borrowed literature, order literature that is not available or license it as an e-book and make scans as required.

You are welcome to place private media in the course reserve. However, no liability is accepted for damage or loss of private media.

Physically reserved material should not exceed 20 media units.

For setting up digital or supplementing your physically reserved material, we offer you a scanning service in addition to the licensing of e-books. We scan the selected documents and make them available for you to download.

You can then upload the documents to the learning management system moodle, as long as the copyright regulations are adhered to. We digitise articles from journals and excerpts from books from the library's collection for you within the framework of the applicable copyright law.

> Copyright regulations

The course reserves are dissolved at the end of the respective semester (no later than 31.03. or 30.09. of a year). Other dates can be set.
