Freely available e-resources during Corona

Due to the temporary closure of many libraries, some publishers and providers also support digital teaching by providing their electronic services temporarily free of charge. Some services are only available via the HCU network. Further information on access from outside the HCU can be found here.

In the following we have compiled an overview of all services for you:

allows free access to the ACM Digital Library until 30.06.2020.

The American Economic Association
offers free access to all e-journals of the publishing house until 30.06.2020.

Annual Reviews
enables free access to all e-journals of the publishing house until 15.06.2020.

provides all Berghahn e-journals free of charge until 30.06.2020.

provides access to the Bloomsbury Digital Resources until 31.05.2020. This includes, for example, the Bloomsbury Architecture Library. For access from outside please use Shibboleth.

has made its e-books on topics such as distance learning and crisis research freely available.

The Cambridge University Press
makes all e-books of the publishing house available free of charge until 31.05.2020.

provides access to 75,000 e-books from various publishers , published between 1658 and 2016 until 30.06.2020.

EDP Sciences
makes the 2018-2020 volumes of all e-journals available free of charge until 30.06.2020.

allows access for 3 months to all ScienceDirect Textbooks.

has activated the e-journals ew, netzpraxis, et and EUROHEAT&POWER from the year 2019 until 30.06.2020.

has unlocked all volumes of the e-journal collection Property Management & Built Environment until 30.06.

The Erich Schmidt Verlag 
has activated all its e-journals until 30.06.2020.

Via Project Muse 
numerous university publishers make their publications available free of charge.

Journal of Visualized Experiments (JOVE)
provides access to training videos on various topics until 15.06.2020. A free registration is required for this.

offers until 15.06.2020 access to the Juris database (incl. the partner module on environmental law) also from outside.

The University of Califonia Press 
provides access to all e-journals free of charge until 30.06.2020.

The University of Michigan Press 
allows access to its e-book collection until 30.06.2020. All e-books can be read online, but not downloaded.

has unlocked the platform SAGE Knowledge until 30.06.2020. Included are e-books, manuals and encyclopedias of the SAGE publishing house.

makes 500 E-Books available free of charge until 31.07.2020.
