Digital City

Modern planning and processes of urban development are increasingly shaped by the possibilities provided by new information technology and "intelligent networking". The application of digital geospatial information can support and improved these processes. Due to the application potentials arising due to the new technologies, research should, however, also be able to spot problem points and develop strategies, via which the acquiring of information can contribute to a sustainable design of a built environment.
