Cities Built near Water

This research group aims to address transformation processes, the morphology of cities built near water as well as exploration, surveying and process engineering in coastal and interior areas. Interesting and promising research questions and approaches have already arisen due to the university's location in one of the largest harbour conversion projects in Europe, the impending climatic changes and the effects on cities located near water as well as the existing individual competencies at the HCU.
