Re-registration
No re-registration without complete payment of semester levy and tuition fees
The lawmaker did amend the Tuition Fees Law in fall 2008 and decided that the tuition fees are due with enrolment or re-registration. Hitherto, the HCU did handle this rule flexible, to ease you the change of the new law, which did coming into effect in 2008/2009 winter semester.
Effective 2010 from summer semester: If you like to enroll or re-register you have to pay the semester levy and the tuition fees. Due to this, you will get your semester documents as soon as both payments have been paid into the HCU account.
There are some exceptions:
· Payment of semester levy and a valid signed "Payment Deferral Declaration" cause a re-registration.
· Students who are taking an allowed academic leave of absence or participating an an internship are exempted from having to pay tuition fees.
· Students applying for a HCU deferral or an exemption from tuition fees do not have to pay the tuition fees as long as there is no decision. This is valid only for applications who are submitted before the start of the semester (i.e. up to and including March 31, or up to and including September 30 of a particular year).
