With effect from the 2009 summer semester, the following applies for students who have exceeded the standard period of study plus two semesters and have a dependent child under the age of 14: To be exempted from the obligation to pay tuition fees, you must make an appropriate application for this, at the latest before the start of the semester (March 31 for the summer semester and September 30 for the winter semester). Please enclose a certified copy of your child's birth certificate as well as a registration card which shows that you and the child are registered at the same residence.
In the case of adoptive or foster children, a certified copy of the adoption certificate or the proof of fosterage must be submitted instead of the certified birth certificate.
You can still submit an application if the reason for applying arises during the ongoing semester.
