Applying to HCU Hamburg
Students who have obtained their higher education entrance qualification in Germany can apply, within the application period, via the online application - for the winter semester between June 1 and July 15 of the respective year. If June 1 should fall on a weekend or holiday, the online application portal will become available on the following workday at around 8:00. After you have filled in, printed out and signed your online application, please send this to the following address in good time with all the required certificates, etc.:

Students who have obtained their higher education entrance qualification outside of Germany must apply through uni-assist. This application form is available for download to all foreign applicants all year round. You can find more detailed information here.
Please note that the application deadlines represent cut-off dates!
The postmark is thus not decisive, rather the date of receipt at the HCU Hamburg! The application deadline does not extend to the expiry of the following workday (see article 31 section 5 and section 3 clause 2 of the Hamburg Administrative Procedures Act dated 9.11.1977).
For this reason, you must ensure that your application complies with all requirements, as due to the sheer volume of applications the Student Administration can not inform you should your application contain inaccuracies. The lack of an official certification is a frequent exclusion criterion. Please note that an ecclesiastical seal does not suffice as an official certification. In addition, check again before sending to verify you have signed the application form! Incomplete and inaccurate applications are excluded from the procedure for awarding university places and rejected for formal reasons.
Finally, please note that you can only make one admission application to the HCU Hamburg per semester. In the case of multiple applications, only the last application received (on time) will be taken into account.
